We link primary guidance from public agencies and product documentation where it supports the calculation. A cited source supports a stated relationship or context; it does not endorse this website or every empirical adjustment. Unmeasured efficiencies and sizing factors are identified as assumptions.
Checking and correcting the work
Core equations and unit conversions have automated tests. The source notes and examples make the method inspectable, but this is not independent expert review. To report a suspected error, see Contact & corrections and include inputs, units, expected results and a supporting reference.
